DR. Diana Waters Class of 1976
Diana Waters is full time faculty at the Philadelphia Center, an off-campus study program affiliated with the Great Lakes Colleges Association. She is also on the faculty at Goddard College in the Individualized B.A. Program. She has been involved with education reform since 1984, has been active in school desegregation issues in the Philadelphia Public School System, and has held board membership on several education funds and community organizations serving diverse populations. She has provided seminars and workshops on diversity for corporations, non-profit organizations and in public and private school settings. Diana is the president and founder of MayaMarc, Inc., a diversity consulting firm based in Philadelphia. Transformative Education and storytelling are Diana’s two loves. After attending Wellesley College in the 1970’s, Diana Waters received her Associates Degree in Sociology from University of Pennsylvania in 1998. She finished her B.A. in education at Goddard College in 2000. Diana received her Ed.D. in educational leadership and change from Fielding University in 2005.
